Thrasio, founded in 2018, is a leading provider of Amazon aggregation services. It specializes in the acquisition and scaling of fast-selling products and storefronts, and uses its expertise in product, logistics, and data science to scale businesses on a global level.
The company has successfully grown to over $1 billion in revenue across more than 200 brands and has expanded its operations globally, including Europe, China, Japan, and India. They aim to continue their growth through the acquisition of additional companies and the expansion of their supply chain.
Thrasio is known for its approach of using data analysis to identify and acquire successful brands on Amazon by examining rankings, ratings, and reviews. It positions itself as a "next-gen consumer packaged goods company."
Thrasio and Sogody established a partnership in August 2021. The goal was to provide experimentation services (including A/B testing) and development in Shopify. However, since its inception, the scope of services has grown beyond these initial areas of focus and now Thrasio’s service package includes:
Development - This includes landing page development, adding new Shopify-developed features, scripts & apps, as well as implementing third-party integrations.
Experience & Optimization - Improving conversion rate through A/B tests with Optimizely while utilizing a custom-tailored Experimentation Framework built by Sogody. Implementing and managing tracking & report analysis.
Insights & Analytics - Staying ahead of the curve through strategic proposals (opportunity decks), GTM implementation, tracking & reporting dashboards, and performance & site audits.
Maintenance & QA - Determining if the product meets quality standards through periodic maintenance checks and updates, systematic QA of each deliverable, and performing general QA reports of sites identifying potential unresolved bugs.
Research & Development - Continuously identifying opportunities for growth or cost reductions, proposing experimentation ideas from our Test Bank (proven tests that have been successful on our other clients), and offering Shopify app development and headless versions of e-commerce stores.
Thrasio operates as an umbrella company with multiple separate brands and we support each brand individually, by dividing our workload accordingly. As a vital part of Thrasio’s daily operations, we work closely with their team to plan and coordinate our weekly sprints, determine priorities, assess client requirements, and accurately estimate the necessary tasks.
